Is the ahimsa, the non-violence, possible?

If you are established in non-violence, all outer danger will diminish, says one very nice thought (a sutra) of Patanjali. But non-violence is not a specific action or no-action; it is a state of consciousness.

It is hard to tell which action will be non-violent, if any. With every breath you can damage or even take someones life. A mere living is a treat to many other life forms.
